Can I remove my dash without removing the wind shield?
Hi I've been slowly stripping and cleaning the interior of my 1964 Chevy C10 Short Bed Fleet side for little over a month. And where the heater controls would be on my dash it is cut and bent as if the previous owner wanted to put in a radio. But anyways i have spotted the 3 bolts on each side of the dash that need to be unbolted. And it looks as if the dash goes up to the rubber seal that holds in the wind shield does that mean I need to remove my wind shield so i can remove my dash?

I would say it might be doable but I couldn't do it.

The windshield has got to come out. The top flange on the dashboard is spot welded to a mating flange which is part of the cab and the two of them together form the bottom retainer for the windshield seal. Have several hours and some good, sharp spot weld cutters available.

I cut one out of a 66 and replaced it with a 60 Chevrolet Impala. Some of those welds are damn near impossible to get to. For sure the windshield needs removed.
