65 c10 suspension
I have a 65 C10 and I was wondering what I should do for the suspension. I plan on using the truck for a lot things. Road course, autocross, drag and a daily driver. So I am planing on double adjustable coilovers and wilwood brakes but beyond that I'm not sure what else to get.

Re: 65 c10 suspension
I used Ridetech, I might be kind biased because I work there. we do have coil-over kit as well. if you want to check anything out let me know, I can send over a link or a PDF of the instructions.
thanks |

Re: 65 c10 suspension
I'm pretty interested in them and Hotchkis but I'm a bit hesitant about the 4 link set ups since I do want to do autocross.

Re: 65 c10 suspension
I understand that completely, if you check out the Ridetech FB page you can see several guys running our truck stuff on the autocross track.
let me know if I can help you with any pictures or details about the kit/kits , I have installed the air and the coil-over kit on C-10. JM |

Re: 65 c10 suspension
The streetbite system is looking pretty tempting actually. Which brakes work with the drop spindles?

Re: 65 c10 suspension
You can use the stock stuff with the supplied bracket. Baer/Wilwood/CPP or almost any aftermarket brands will fit as well. |

Re: 65 c10 suspension
Here is a link to the page on our website where this kit is, at the bottom is a tab to download the instructions. It will give you a clear idea on what it takes to install this kit.

Re: 65 c10 suspension
Did you have any issues with the front shock relocation and fender fittment. Or shocks hitting front fenders? What shocks did you end up using?
I'm looking for a smooth ride. Truck is used for cruising down the road and Sunday drives.
