brake ??
The other day I came to a stop no problem but as I sat the brake pedal slowly depressed to the floor. The brakes never failed and were fine at next stop. Has plenty of fluid??
Any thoughts

Sounds almost like a well cylinder boot let go then sucked itself back onto the cylinder??? Check the wheel cylinders for leakage and remember to replace them in pairs.

If you don't find any fluid leaking at the wheel cylinders, you probably have a blown master cylinder. It can blow to the "inside" and you will loose pedal pressure, but it won't leak...

will the brakes fail completely eventualy or will it be awhile it has only happened a few times in like two months. And I am low on cash.

Well you never know. They may last a while if it's just a wheel cylinder. If it's a master cylinder, it could last, or it could blow out at any time. I would check it out as quick as I could.

if its the rear just un hook them
pull the line out of the master cylinder put a nail in it and put it back in.. front brakes only and no fluid leaks. just fix them before it snows. it'll save you a few buck until you have time to do it right

If it does fail will the brakes just not work at all or what?

do you want to test it and find out?
they wont completely fail they will be more like manual. you will have to pump them to get some pressure then the pedal will be rock hard grab the steering wheel for leverage and push as hard as you can until you find something soft to hit.
ive done it its not as fun as it sounds. mine was from the kid who put the motor in the truck before me smashed the booster all to hell and sold me the truck half finished
