700r4 Tranny fitment?
I have a 383 with a 700R4 going in my truck. (66 c10 SWB)
I have read a few places that the flange where the floor pans meet has to be removed (or hammered as some have said). Are there any other fitment issues? Would it be better to cut the old hump out and install one with more room?

Re: 700r4 Tranny fitment?
I have a Low Hump in my 64 and the 700R4 fit it pretty good. I used the tranny mount from Lmc and everything fits great. I did massage the firewall lips a little.

Re: 700r4 Tranny fitment?
Same for me. Low hump installed a 700R4 behind a 350. I bought the tranny mount from Bowtie Overdrives and cut the drive shaft a little and that was it.
The distributor is a little tight around the firewall but nothing to really write home about.

Re: 700r4 Tranny fitment?
Good to know. Thanks for the help!
I'm in the process of installing floor pans and rockers so I thought while I was there, I better ask.
