Question about a 1987 4X4 shortbed front end look
I am by no means a guru on these ol' trucks we love but I don't think I've ever seen a 87 without dual headlights? Those are turn signal lens under the headlights. It's looks original in person except for the 350 goodwrench engine in place of the 305. A no rust, fairly original, clean truck getting ready for paint.

Single headlight trucks were lower optioned scottsdale or custom deluxe trucks. However, you could have ordered the deluxe appearance package and got the quad lights....that's what my 81 scottsdale has.

You can find original 81-87 Custom Deluxes, and Scottsdales with Dual or Single headlights. But you will never find an original Silverado with single headlights.

I was going to buy this and drive it home...I can't now, if someone wants I think it's well worth 3700 bucks, I saw it in person.

Re: Question about a 1987 4X4 shortbed front end look
All of the square body years had an appearance upgrade grille and the option code was V22. The Silverado package YE9 automatically included the V22 option. From 73-79 the V22 was either a chrome grille versus a painted grille or the addition of polished SS strips. In 80 the base front end used round lights and painted grille whereas the Silverado received the Rectangular HL and chrome grille. From 81-87 the base grille was the single rect light and the V22 was the four light system. The V22 could be ordered w/o the Silverado YE9 option. The YE9 option included the V22.
