'65 c10 radiator core support bolts and radiator rubber pieces
I'm trying to find the core support bolts/rubber pieces and, the rubber pieces that the radiator sits in but, having hard time finding the correct ones. I had ordered what I thought was the correct pieces a year or so back and just now trying to get it Installed only to discover I have the wrong ones. Part of it looks right...the carriage bolts, the square pieces that the bolt goes thru to keep it from turning looks right but, rubber pieces don't look right. The size of the hole where it mounts is one inch in diameter but, the bolt is only 7/16. The rubber bushings need to have a shoulder on them To go into the frame otherwise, there will be way too much slop and wouldn't center the rad support. Unfortunately I can't download any pictures to show what I have. I also need 4 of the rubber pieces that cradle the radiator. They have to be about 2 -7/8" inside. Please excuse the poor writing skills I have. Hopefully Someone will be able to make sense of what I've written and be able to help me. Thanks in advance.

Re: '65 c10 radiator core support bolts and radiator rubber pieces
I got my carriage bolts from the hardware store. They are not an exact fit but they work. I got the rubber parts from LMC. Again, not exactly right, but close enough. I lubed them up with some kind of silicon spray just prior to installing the radiator because they were not wanting to cooperate.

Re: '65 c10 radiator core support bolts and radiator rubber pieces
I am using the rad core support "kit" from LMC, looks just like every one elses I guess. There will be slop in the holes on the chassis. I am assuming (cause I never asked on here) that getting the body straight on the chassis is mainly the work of the body mounts.
I am not aware of a different size radiator mounts. I was at the Truck Shop in Orange, CA and bought them there - Or was it Brothers in Corona? . . .

Re: '65 c10 radiator core support bolts and radiator rubber pieces
Thanks to all for reply. Talked to a guy at Triple F automotive. He confirmed that there must be "slop" in the core support bolts/bushings to align the hood and front end. Im still trying to find the rubber pieces that hold the radiator in place. They must be for a 4 core factory air truck. Talked to folks at LMC and they only show one size/part number. These pieces are approx 3" inside. I've also called just about every part supplier from LMC, Summit, Brothers etc. Does anyone have advice/place to get these?

Re: '65 c10 radiator core support bolts and radiator rubber pieces
The radiator mount rubber cushions for the 4 row radiator are not reproduced. You will have to try and find a good used set. An option would be to buy a couple sets of the rubbers for the 2/3 row core radiators and cut and splice them to create the correct size.

Re: '65 c10 radiator core support bolts and radiator rubber pieces
I was thinking about this and opened up my new rad support pads. They fit narrow and wide applications, see the pic - they go down to 2 inches and my rad core is 2-3/4" wide and they fit so . . .
