DBC cruise question
In my LM7 swap I am trying to use as much factory wiring from the 00 silverado donor truck as possible, even re using the in cab wiring for the cluster obd2 and cruise... and that is what leads me to this question. All the 00 silverado factory cruise control wiring terminates just as the diagram ls2nove71 illustrated on his thread, except the G wire. Without any interruption the G wire feeds directly from the cruise connector on the cruse control box to the C100 connector, specifically, pin R which is the "fused auto trans shift lock feed".
Am I going to be ok leaving the wiring ran as the factory did (I assume so) or, because of the nature of the retrofit and computer tune, do i need to hook it up to the brake pedal same as the picture below?

Re: DBC cruise question
I'm not sure how you know that wire from pin G goes to the R terminal of the C100 plug, but I can assure you that it doesn't. The wire in the R terminal is green with a black stripe, correct? That is the power for the shift interlock. The wire from the G pin on the cruise module is light blue, it goes to the big underhood fuse box, I believe it will be in A10 of the big C2 connector. It hooks to the fuse labeled "veh stop 10a", the wire coming from the brake switch is white. Basically the white wire goes into the fusebox, through the fuse then comes out a light blue wire that goes to the cruise module. Hope this makes sense?
