Turbo 375 to 400
My turbo 375 is on its way out on my 85 short box. It has the long tail stock. Does anybody on here know if gm made a short box with a short tail stock 400 and a 1 piece driveshaft as my drive shaft be too short. All I'm really finding are the short ones for sale.

Re: Turbo 375 to 400
Long tail shaft th400's used to be pretty common. I have no idea where they all went. Too bad you weren't closer because I have a nice 375 long tail shaft. I don't think it would be that hard to find a driveshaft that would fit a short shaft 400 or just have one built.

Re: Turbo 375 to 400
I thought the 375 was just a TH400 with light duty internals. Have it rebuilt and upgrade the drums and hubs for more frictions and then you can use the tail shaft you already have. Ore you could buy a TH400 and have a shop put your tail shaft assemble on it.
