No sir. Just gathering parts for the switch. I have the disc kit ordered, just researching boosters and will be contacting you soon about a 62 setup with clutch master.

Can't confirm this, but I've been told the 95 Blazer booster is same as the S10 booster. I have the 95 Blazer booster and it fits Captainfab 63-66 bracket just fine. I imagine your S10 booster will fit the 62 bracket just fine too.

They should be the same from what I,ve found. Did you buy new or used and reason why you didnt use the matching proportioning valve?

I had trouble getting the master to bench bleed properly. Then I cross threaded the Blazer PV, so it leaked.

Then I decided I wanted more adjustability so I bought a brake bias valve from Summit that allows me to reduce the rear drums down as low as 52% or anywhere above that. The brake bias valve is badged as "Summit" but underneath the badge it has Wilwood cast into the metal. So it's really a Wilwood product.

I cut the ring off the Blazer booster push rod and tapped it. Then used a Speedway pushrod extension with HEIM joint. I drilled a new hole on the pedal arm for the pushrod to bolt on. That reduces the pedal sensitivity a bit.

Thank you sir. Very nice work. Do you happen to have the part no for the brake bias valve.

Re: Brake booster

Lugnutz.... Nice write up! What die did you use for the threads, is that the 3/8"-24 they have listed on speedway website?

Also the hole in the brake pedal arm is that 1" below and why is that even needed?

Yes, I cut threads 3/8" X 24.

Moving the pushrod down 1" decreases the mechanical leverage so the brakes are less "touchy". I read an article on the subject and I'll try to find it. Basically, drum/drum brake systems usually have a pedal leverage of 8:1.

Moving the push rod down reduces the mechanical leverage to somewhere closer to 5:1.

Re: Brake booster

Would that be the same and as beneficial for disc/disc?

Re: Brake booster

Yes. Moving the pushrod down 1" is for both disc/disc and disc/drum applications.
