Hello

Hello everyone new guy here from Virginia. Working on a 1971 k10 long bed without original engine it has a small block with auto trans in it. Need help to id the engine. casting number is 3970010 but strange suffix number it reads k010tya and under that number is c 41307 17 Can not find a date stamp on the back of engine however on the passenger side of block between oil pan and head is numbers and a clock. the casting number shows 69 to 79 I would like to know more if some one could help me. Thanks..
