Wiper arm question
My 85 has an 84 wiper motor in it that needs replaced so I'm upgrading what I can while I'm there, including new arms. I see two styles listed at LMC, one with the hook on the end and one with the post. Are they interchangeable (posts same on both trucks) and does the later style have better blades availble?

Re: Wiper arm question
What no wiper gurus here? I don't believe that. Lol I just want to make sure if I don't change something with no benefit.

Re: Wiper arm question
Let me rephrase that...
(6772translator : on) Sup guys, quick question. LMC lists two different wiper arms for my truck. Which work better with a 5/7 drop? What if I'm upgrading to dropmember and bags before spring? Thanks! |

The earlier style had stationary nozzles, mounted under the cowling - that sprayed up onto the windshield. The later versions had tubing that ran all the way up to the tip of the wiper arms where it was connected to the nozzle blocks. So if you buy an 84 style arm there will be no way to spray the washer fluid on the windshield. As far as whether there are better wiper blades available to mount on either style of arm...IDK. But I imagine you could buy a high quality blade for either one. |

Re: Wiper arm question
Thanks. I looked closer when I got home and on my desktop and realized it's one or the other, plus the squirters you mentioned.
