AD Weight Diff rolling v. complete
I have a mostly complete rolling frame. I'm curious if anyone knows how much more weight the cab, fenders and interior adds to the truck?
I'm needing some new springs and want to give it a basic alignment while it is in the shop, but hard to guess what the final weight is. I have a 4bt/zf-5 which is least 900lbs on the front. Any guesses on the added weight the rest of the truck would be?

Re: AD Weight Diff rolling v. complete
Curb weight of a stock 53 3100 (first one I clicked on) is 3265 Weigh on the front wheels is 1845 and weight on the rear wheels is 1420
This says your 4BT weighs between 745 and 782 with oil in it so figure the 782. http://www.cumminshub.com/4bt.html Interesting link there. The ZF-5 weighs right at 175 so your 900 is right close to the total weight. Add clutch and flywheel and you get a few more pounds though. 235 isn't/wasn't light weighing around 650 plus the flywheel, clutch and bellhousing and trans. Total you are probably around 300 lbs heavier on the front than it was with the stock six if that.
