Complete '72 350 motor w/ trans (72,000 mile)
...just wondering what a complete, nicely running '72 350/4 bbl with the original TH350 trans still attached is worth?
It is out of a very nice, original 72,000 mile GMC survivor and I know the guy with the truck relatively well. I have an opportunity to hear it run before he pulls it to replace it with a 454...as he moves to start modifying the truck. What do you think? $500? or? All good Coley

I think that sounds right. I can't see paying more than $500

Re: Complete '72 350 motor w/ trans (72,000 mile)
...ok, good info and feedback.
I might be able to get it for less if I have some items to trade....hmm. Maybe $400 plus a few parts (or less?) If I decide to move on it, I might give it a quick compression check to see what sort of numbers it puts up. I wish I had a pic of the truck, which he brought over to the house once. This is a super straight and solid (Ochre) truck from the Canadian prairies...ps/pb/auto/lower wide mldg....all stock, super clean, nice interior. He is in going to be shortening, lowering and modifying it to suit his own plans....so be it, its his truck. That is also why is going to pull the original motor and go with the 454 BB option. All good Coley
