LED headlights and taillights
I want to upgrade my headlights and taillights to these LED lights. It says I may need flashers but I see some are 2 prong or 3 prong. I am sure someone has done this before. Any ideas of everything I need to make these work? Thanks!

Re: LED headlights and taillights
Three prong flashers provide a separate connection for an indicator light. Many times a two prong and a three prong work equally well in a circuit that you are building. The most important consideration for switching to LED's is usually to make sure you get an electronic flasher rather than an old style load based flasher.

Re: LED headlights and taillights
All I did with mine was change to the electronic flasher. Nothing else was needed to make them work correctly. I used a Highway 22 fuse block and wiring for mine.

Can I ask where you get an electronic flasher? Is it an fairly easy or straight forward part to put in. I just switched out my taillights on my '52 and my turn signals do not work very well, kinda intermittent BTW - the LED brake/stop lights are waay brighter |

Re: LED headlights and taillights
If your truck has an updated wiring harness there should already be some flashers. You just need to replace them with something like this:

Re: LED headlights and taillights
You can buy a match for that electronic flasher at the local parts house but that might be a better price. I think I paid close to 15 for one at O'Reilly's a while back.
