Correct grille bowtie.....
Does anyone have a good picture of what the heck an '81 pick up has emblem-wise on the grille? Also, why do they seem to sell every year but '81/82? Thanks

The 81/82 bow ties are a yellow emboss with a ribbed plastic overlay. Every once in a while I see one on Ebay-they sell regularly for $100-150 each NOS.

I have already been purchasing the grille & emblems from LMC solely because of these being listed as GM Authorized Restoration Parts. I have seen them, had them in my hand and used them. It will be like buying NOS without paying those outlandish prices.

I have never had issues with LMC either. It just seems whenever LMC gets mentioned in a post, someone has something bad to say about them.

Re: Correct grille bowtie.....
You are fortunate. I have had plenty of quality issues with them. Glad to see an improvement.
