Will this 4L60e Transmission work
I have a 2003 5.3 LS out of a Suburban. A buddy offered me his 4L60E out of his 99 GMC Sonoma 4.3. Would this transmission work for my application. I would really appreciate any feedback. Thanks

You'd need to see if it has a 300mm input shaft. 99 is the dividing year on the fullsize trucks, but the s-series stuff might still be on the older design.

My money is on "no" but it should be easy enuff to compare the input shafts... Like mentioned above if it's the larger 300mm shaft all is fine

Re: Will this 4L60e Transmission work
I recently rebuilt a 4l60e in a 99 s10 and it was the smaller shaft... Would be curious to know what you find.
