should i drill into my bed or not?
i was thinking of getting the tonneau cover from brothers for 139, but you have to drill into the side of your bed to install it. Is it really that bad to drill into the bed, or is it not that big of a deal. If it is a bad thing, do you guys know where i can find a soft tonneau cover that fits well and is cheap. I would like to get a hard cover, but i dont have the money right now. thanks for the replies.

drilling into the inside of the bed would not bother me - if the cover is one of those snap on type I would run away. Check this thread for some more ideas -

Lund offers one for 67-72's in the 6 and 8 foot fleetsides but I am not sure about stepsides. They are around 200.00 and use alumn frame rails vs. drilling. Its a soft type.

I wouldn't do it myself, but it's your truck, so drill away.
