Has anyone ever seen this grill?

So walking through the junkyard and came across a c30 wrecker...and it had this grill. Ive never seen one like this,it appears to be missing the slots. What do you guys think, look good on a 64 c10? Not sure I like the bowtie but I guess I could take it out and add the slots...thoughts?

Re: Has anyone ever seen this grill?

After a little more research, it looks like it's a c60 grill they put on a smaller truck, pretty cool.

That looks awesome. I'd love to have that. We don't have any cool wrecking yards around here anymore with old stuff in them.
I love the Chevrolet lettering above it too.

might look great with the Chevrolet letters in the space instead of the bow tie.

Re: Has anyone ever seen this grill?

Yeah, after I got it home i looked it up and there is actually a thread on here with some pics. Some people put the Chevrolet in place of the bowtie, others kept the bowtie and lost the Chevrolet. Not sure what I'll do...we have several junkyards close but finding one that will let you pick is another story, sometimes I think they don't want to make money haha.

Re: Has anyone ever seen this grill?

It is a cool look, but not cool enough to replace my stock '63 grille on my '63.
Greg.

VictoriaH, are these steel ones that are chromed? A while back someone said they found an aluminum one without the slots and i dont remember if it was confirmed they were made in aluminum.
