Front Bumper Bracket
I have no front bumper or bumper brackets. I want to fabricate the brackets. Can someone tell me the width and thickness of the metal used in the bumper brackets?
Thanks. Wade |

Re: Front Bumper Bracket
They are abundant on Craigslist in my area, typically selling for $50. I have three sets. I'd probably let go of one. At that price I can't imagine it would be economically efficient to fabricate them, unless you're making some custom modifications.

Re: Front Bumper Bracket
As a price point Classic parts sells new ones for 74.95 https://www.classicparts.com/1947-54...ctinfo/65-312/
If you made your own you would pretty well have to have one of us trace the shape out on paper and roll it up and send it to you so you had a pattern to work by. They don't run straight and flat though as they also have a drop in them.
