Just scored a 72 GMC swb
Well guys I'm undecided which way to go with this bad boy. I like the stock original look but I also want a shop truck.

Re: Just scored a 72 GMC swb
Do a stock original paint job and letter it up as a shop truck. Shop truck doesn't mean anything more than that. If you mean patina shop truck then do the patina on a stock resto and letter it. If you mean a hot rod shop truck, put some period wheels on and warm that motor up. The wheels are just a bolt-on and hi-performance does not have to be seen. Or just don't worry about original looking under the hood.

Re: Just scored a 72 GMC swb
Can't get much more period correct than Cragar SS. It does look a little too high even for stock though. I can see a cheap drop in it's future.
