1949 Chevy Truck Clutch Linkage
Can somebody with a stock 3 on the tree take some pics of the clutch linkage in place. All springs and levers. I didn't take any picks of mine when I pulled my motor and trans. Dummy me.

Re: 1949 Chevy Truck Clutch Linkage
I've got a stock 49 3100 with a 216 and 3 on the tree. I'll try and take some pics by the weekend.

Re: 1949 Chevy Truck Clutch Linkage
I crawled under the truck today after a long wet cruise and the pics didn't turn out so good. I pulled the truck out of a barn about 4 yrs ago. Got it running and have been driving it since. I fix things as they break and so far the clutch still works fine.
But, I took some pics of the clutch assembly out of one of my manuals, I hope they'll help you out. Dave |

The second image that Volfandt posted is probably the one that will do you the most good. It gives a reasonably clear image of where the pieces should go.
If you save his or this image to your computer an expand it a bit it might be easier to see the details.
