Blazer bed floor vs. truck bed floor
Can somebody clear up for me the difference between the Blazer rear bed floor and the pickup bed floor? I've heard that they are different and that the pickup bed floor patch panels out there will not work on the Blazer? Is that true? Is it a difference in the width of the ridges or something?

Well the obvious part is that a Blazer floor is shorter
I took a LWB floor and cut about a 8 inch section out then re-welded it back together. |

The front is the only unique part. I cut the 1st 6 inches off of my Jimmy floor and welded it on to the LWB floor.

Thanks for the reply Gee Emm. I am just looking to patch a couple of rust throughs on the very rear edge of my bed, so it sounds like I could use a pickup bed floor patch panel to at least do that. Thanks again.

GeeEm is the cross sill at the rear the same? The mounts are rusted off of mine and I got a feeling most of the top rail is as the back floor metal is "soft" all the way across.

72 and I think 71 had this notch out in them, I had to add this to my floor. Otherwise they are the same for the most part

Yes, I forgot about the notches in the rear cross sill. That is unique to '72. Thanks guys.
