which front and rear diffs came on my suburban and will these fit?

Hey guys I was wondering what diffs came from the factory on my 86 2500 4x4 suburban? I found a set of diff covers local and was wondering if they would fit.

In 86 your 3/4 ton 4x4 would have a 8 lug, 10 bolt front axle and a semi-float 14 bolt from the factory.

Neither one of those is going to fit if you have factory axles.

Potentially, one of those(upper one) might fit if someone swapped a 14bff rear axle in.

A lot of 3/4 ton burbs came with 14bolt full float axles. Just have to crawl underneath and see.

I have a 78 k20 burb that came with a 14bff.

It was my understanding that 4x4 burbs after 81 did not come with 14bff or a BBC. K/V 20 series only came with semi float 14 axle with a sbc or diesel.

If it was a 2wd. You could get a 454 and a 14bff in one package.

Truth right there.
Pull off the hubcap and if there is a big hub in middle of the axle, 14bolt full floater. No need to crawl under it.
If that is what you indeed have then somebody swapped it in there.
