New Trailer - Lights dim...?
I just bought a new 16' Trailer w/brakes. All the lights work on the Truck, and when hooked to the Trailer they also work, but the Signals get very dim and flash faster.
Do I need a different relay? Or maybe LEDs in the trailer? Ideas?

Re: New Trailer - Lights dim...?
Just installed a Heavy Duty Electronic flasher relay - hopefully that will do it.

Re: New Trailer - Lights dim...?
It should. A Heavy Duty(sometimes marked for use with trailer) flasher will normally do the trick. The older style non-electronic versions often lost the if bulb out - don't flash warning feature.

Yep - worked like a charm!
Used NAPA EL-12
