Painting over a bedliner

Hey Guys

My truck has a spray in bedliner which is black has anyone ever painted a bedliner body color? If so what product did you use? automotive paint?

When i talked to linex they told me that their colormatch bedliner was actually paint....may not work for all bed liners though....

Unless it’s a show truck and you haul zero in the bed, spraying over a bedliner will not be durable, hold up, or even adhere well due to the uneven surface of the liner. Color matched liners have the color blended in to the material...if you scratch it, it’s still the same color underneath.

i hope by now they have the color match spray in UV stable .

i saw a guys truck years ago that had a red color matched spray in . . . they were buying him a new box and redoing the whole job for free . the red turned piss yellow from the sun light on it .

The only thing I haul are these coolers "toolbox's" and they sit on a rubber mat.........lol so scratching it isn't a problem
