Re: Fender size

Those are the big truck fenders, 6500 series. I've seen guys run them on 1/2-tons before; they actually look kinda different and cool.

Thanks guys for the quick response and good info.
I actually like the look and it gives me he wheel clearance I need. I don’t know much about these bigger trucks. I suppose I would need a larger hood and grill also. Is that correct?

Re: Fender size

Welcome...
Those are actually 4400 or 6400 series fenders...usually on all trucks over 1ton...I'm not aware of a 6500
Hope you have the whole front end...everything else on the big truck fronts is different

I believe that the 6400 and 6500 are the same truck (2-ton), the 6500 just has a longer wheelbase. Fenders are the same on both models. Most of the big trucks I've seen in person have been 6500s so that's the number I used in my post, but 6400 works too.

Note the 6500 hood side emblem on this '53 - and those sure look like the OP's fenders:

Re: Fender size

The hood is different too! Mr48 showed someone this a while ago and I never knew it, the hoods are thinner across the bottom.
