Radium, BC - Car Show (C10's and snow)
29th annual car show in Radium. I'd never been. Woke up Friday morning to snow. Luckily I'd rented a trailer for the 3.5hr drive to Radium. As I was washing my car Friday morning the water was literally freezing on the body haha.
I think there were about 700 cars that turned out. It's usually more, I'm told. Got a nice rock off a truck Friday in Radium Woman owner

I know they aren't well loved, but I really love the 57 shorty. Good memories from the 70's I guess.

Re: Radium, BC - Car Show (C10's and snow)
Those aren't taken with a phone no doubt.
The 57 shorty, while not really my thing, is kinda cool. First question that comes to my mind is how easy does it pull a wheelie.

Re: Radium, BC - Car Show (C10's and snow)
Actually these truly are straight off the phone camera. iPhone 8 Plus (I think).
So were these (mine): 1) https://www.instagram.com/p/BDZh4NIR...on_share_sheet 2) https://www.instagram.com/p/BLp2yT0g...on_share_sheet 3) https://www.instagram.com/p/BK3N_U4j...on_share_sheet I have actually taught photography so I would suggest that these photos looks good because of the composition and considering where the light is coming from.

Wow....great pics and looks like it was a great show.
Radium is worth it just for the location.....absolutely beautiful breathtaking part of the Canadian Rockies. Good opportunity to bug out early and go relax in the Hot Springs!! nice pics! Coley

Re: Radium, BC - Car Show (C10's and snow)
A few of us backed out cause of the weather. 4-5 hours driving in the snow just didn't make sense. I was looking forward to it and putting more miles on my new combo.

Btw, if you have a truck to tow with, enclosed trailers are $100/day to rent. I've never trailed any car I've owned, but it turned out to be pretty convenient for the weather this past weekend.

Nice pics and looks like a great venue. It sucks about your windshield. I bet that made some noise. Thanks for sharing......

Re: Radium, BC - Car Show (C10's and snow)
I can't decide if I like the cars or the background scenery better!! I started playing hockey about 4 years ago, so a new item on my bucket list is to take a trip to Canada to play some pond hockey and skate on frozen lakes!

Re: Radium, BC - Car Show (C10's and snow)
Thanks for sharing the pics. Some real nice C10's there. This venue is on my lst of shows I want to attend. A couple years ago I tried in September to book accommodations for a year ahead and the couple places i called were already full. I have an IPhone 8 + and notice the picture quality is much better than it was on my IPhone 5S..

My truck will be together at this time next year, so will definitely be making the trip down there. Looks like some really nice trucks there.
