79 chevy blazer Interchange Manual - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I have a 79 k5 blazer and wanted to know if there is a Interchange Manual. If not what years are interchangeable with that year.

Pretty much everything will swap over. The only thing that you should look out for it swapping partial pieces. Like getting 73-76 doors and wanting to put power in them from a 77-91, ain't gonna happen.. Dash bezels are another thing, anything 77,78 and up will work, otherwise you in for some rewiring. Interior Trim will be differentl from 73-75 vs 76-77 vs 78-91. The earlier versions were full top, the later were half. The floor were flatter on the 78-91's also. Drivetrain etc everything will swap.
