I don't think they will cause you any trouble.
I would suggest using stage8 bolts.
They seem like a lot of money for a few bolts.
With the sets I have used I tighten they once and I'm done.

Re: Anyone see why these wont work?

at that price WOW

few guys over on the other site are having good luck with the evilbay china stainless steel headers for 120-180ish .

and i have a set of headers for the 88-98 body style like you have in the pic from years ago when edelbrock had them for sale .

i had to clearance the frame to clear the o2 bung even after i capped it off and cut the hex off flush . it was a big notch i was not proud of . . . later took them off and welded a repair back in the frame .

Re: Anyone see why these wont work?

Is there any reason why you want that style? Might be cheaper to buy appropriate ones for a 81-87 and weld in bungs in if you need them?

Re: Anyone see why these wont work?

Well i found some of the same ones on a scratch and dent for a little under 200 and no i have no need for the o2. Found some black on the same site that just says for sbc does not give an application its meant for.
