Re: Help with Headers
If you search you might find similar questions in this forum with answers.
I'm using an old set of "cheapie" Blackjack's removed from a 73 K10 back in '96 or so. They fit surprisingly well. Hmm... I might be running 1-1/2" tubes though. |

Re: Help with Headers
Are you running stock suspension? Steering box in frame?
If so your limited on space and will need a set that simulates the ram horn location and the rear exhaust port on the driver side may still hit the steering shaft. Googled a photo of ram horns. |

I bought these ram horns after trying a pair of block huggers that wouldn't fit. Heck, 2 1/2" ram horns probably flow as well or better anyway. |

Re: Help with Headers
I'm running these Patriot Clipsters from Jegs on a stock frame (, but with a Fatman IFS, 383 SBC and 4L60 trans. Steering shaft is a straight shot.

Re: Help with Headers
Oh, you mean I'm going to have to hook the steering column up to the rack someday? You had no way of knowing that I haven't done that yet. I did put the u-joints in place about 3 months ago, and it's a straight shot. Give me a little time to get the fusebox and relay panel in place. Then I'll permanently mount the steering column and cut the Borgeson shaft.
In the meantime I'll get out there today, mount a piece of broomstick and show how it's going to fit. Stay tuned...

They went right on, no problem and looks like plenty of room for starter and steering. I got to do something with those plug wires, |
