Re: SEMA Ring Brothers K5
Wow, that's impressive! The rear cargo is some type of interior material...not a spray in liner. Very cool.

Re: SEMA Ring Brothers K5
Jeff,
The video said they made a fiberglass mold of the interior and shaped/designed it to their liking., That's an interesting idea and not too difficult. Mike |

Re: SEMA Ring Brothers K5
They did a really nice job of making a modern truck with a nod to history. Very well executed. I really like the way they did the interior, very nice work. Often i find these SEMA builds to be garish, to the point of being cartoonish, but this one is very nice.

Re: SEMA Ring Brothers K5
Just got back from SEMA, and yes, that truck was awesome. I'll post some pics of it later. Ring Brothers really make high quality cars. One of the nicest cars at SEMA was another one of their builds, a Javelin. There was a total of 5 Blazers at the show this year. SEMA has become a truck show for good reason, it's what people want. Street Rods are now dead. The first time I attended SEMA was 11 years ago, and back then it was all Street Rods and Hot Rods. Amazing how the market has changed in a decade.

Re: SEMA Ring Brothers K5
I just remembered that I never got a side shot of the Ring Brothers Blazer because of the crowd around it.

Re: SEMA Ring Brothers K5
Hood wasn't open when I was there. Knew it would look as nice as the outside.

Junk yard Camaro steering wheel and Transformers Optimus Prime chest protector/ LS3 engine cover have to go.

I call B*ll Sh*t! I pulled mine off and used it to slide down the nearest snow covered hill.

Re: SEMA Ring Brothers K5
The steering wheel was the first thing that I noticed. Why did they use that turd of a wheel when there are so many other better choices out there. Could have been an opportunity for a nice custom wheel.

Re: SEMA Ring Brothers K5
I agree on the cover. I like to see the engine. I think those are more for sound suppression.

Re: SEMA Ring Brothers K5
Yeah the truck intake is a bit ugly. I have seen guys smooth them out and it looked a lot better. I have the ls3 intake on mine.
