LS Swap questions
Hey guys,
I am looking for some info on what it would take to do an LS swap into a '69. I have searched the forum and FAQ section for builds (threads), there seems to be a lot of unfinished projects or they just don't have that great of info and at this point in time its a project everyone is doing and 1,000,000 ways to complete them. I know they can be done on a budget and still turn out great. Can anyone point me in the direction of a swap that is clean, very straight forward and not breaking the bank? Also... are there any swaps on the 67-72 with a T56? Thanks in advance!

You must have missed the "LSx Swaps" forum on here then. All the information you could ever want is in that forum and all of the other forums linked there.... I will move your thread there. LockDoc

Re: LS Swap questions
yes there are lots of trucks on here that have been finished. Probably more done than as projects.

Re: LS Swap questions
This is one of mine. I kept track of prices in the thread so you can get an idea of cost, but it didn't break the bank. It was done a little over 6 years ago though, so some prices have surely changed. https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversio...71-c-10-a.html

Re: LS Swap questions
Search my old threads for a complete build info with a T5 from years ago. It's easy and cheap. Don't let the overspenders fool you.
FWIW I plan on switching from carb to FI this winter. Also a WC T5. It's ugly, but works. I have gone Dallas to DC twice loaded down. Never an issue w heat or anything. Again keep it simple.
