New lift kit
I put a Skyjacker lift kit on a 71 Jimmy frame and the e brake cables seem to be a little tight. It supposed to be a 2.5 lift in the rear. When I put the tub back on how much will the frame move with the weight. Do I need to get new cables and if so where to get them. Thanks

Re: New lift kit
Got it installed hu. You should see what the 3” did to mine. Huge difference from the old saggy stock springs.
Inline tube used to make them. I heard they don’t anymore, so I wonder if there is anyone else.

Re: New lift kit
Inline Tube referenced around the forum quite often..
may be able to search for some threads referencing your application.. Inline Tube / Parking Brake Cables or give them a call to see what they offer.. good luck!

Re: New lift kit
Agreed. I did the 2 1/2 inch all spring lift on my 70 blazer and they were fine.

Re: New lift kit
I have 4" National Springs on the back of my Jimmy and the stock length cables have always been fine.
My kids Jimmy project is tub-off-the-frame in the driveway right now and the driveshaft and shocks are both WAY too short. I'm thinking it's going to move quite a bit with the tub back on based on my previous experience with my own truck on how everything fits with that same combo.

Re: New lift kit
I was going to use the stock cables so I don’t know yet.
