front clip swap
I have a 1972 Blazer. The previous owner did a really nice job with an aluminum fan shroud holding two electric fans. He drilled holes in the core support and welded small tabs at the bottom for bolts. Nice work
The Blazer has a 67 front clip with a cowl induction hood. I would like to put the 72 front end back on the Blazer but would like to keep the core support. Other than the headlight mounts what is different? Scott |

Re: front clip swap
Fenders, hood, hood latch, grill, grill support, headlight rings, no gravel guard on 72. If you get a complete front clip you should be good to go, you could remove the headlight buckets from the newer support and put them on the one you want to keep.
I may have missed something but that should be most if it. Rg

Re: front clip swap
The latch is what I forgot.
I'm going with a new front clip altogether. I was hoping to keep the core support with the new clip. I'm trying to get some pics of the fornt clip before it comes off. Scott |
