High school C10
My job allows me to partner with high schools in helping bring /introduce my industry to students.
Today I visited a high school in Queens NYC and they were eager to give me a tour. Computer labs, science labs, even a drone lab! The one that really got me was the auto lab. Low and behold they’re restoring a 69 c10 sb. It was kind of dark so my pix aren’t great, but it was there and looked good. So cool to see that NYC kids are getting to work on the classics. The promised to invite me back when they fire it up. |

Very cool!! I didn't know schools still have auto shop. Most schools have gotten rid of programs like these; wood shop, metal shop, driver's ed., etc.
