Header selection....
Need a set of headers for a sbc 327 with aluminium Trick Flow Twisted Wedge (angle plug) heads...going on a lowered/bagged 66 c10 so will probably need to be block huggers or a short header of some type that will keep the exhaust above the bottom of the frame rails. Thoughts, opinions etc?? Id like to find a midlength "clipster" header that will work.. something like these possibly?

Re: Header selection....
If not manual, or use a hydraulic clutch bearing...

Re: Header selection....
Trying to find a combination of a shorty or mid length header that will also work with angle plug heads is going to be a challenge. I can say from experience that the Hedman 69260 headers that are made for these trucks will work with angle plug heads. But they do hang a little below the bottom of the frame. Since you are going with an auto trans (I assume you are removing the bellhousing crossmember) then you can use a set of 1st Gen Camaro or early Chevelle headers that are designed to work with angle plug heads. The car long tube headers do not drop down as far as truck headers. But any of those that will work, are going to be way more than the $100 ebay made in China headers.

Re: Header selection....
Wouldn't 69230's work?

Re: Header selection....
Yes, I forgot about those. I have read that they do work with angle plug heads despite what the installation notes say. And they don't hang down too low. Of course the bellhousing crossmember must be removed.
