Tow hook mounting holes??
My blazer does not even have the mounting holes for the tow hooks. My frame is original and the serial number is correct on the frame. Is this normal?
My blazer is a 71 non cst. Jeff |

Re: Tow hook mounting holes??
Only 72 model year pickups and K5s have factory frame holes for tow hook mounting.

Re: Tow hook mounting holes??
just realized your question wasn't fully answered if you plan to add hooks..
there may be others you can search for, but this thread should help.. http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vboa...d.php?t=375734 there's great data, pictures, and measurements in there.. good luck!

Re: Tow hook mounting holes??
Here it is. It’s got a 67 front clip. It looks good but it will need some rust repairs to the rockers. I’m starting the restoration at the back hatch and moving forward.

Re: Tow hook mounting holes??
I’ve also got a half cab that’s in great shape. All it needs is some new weatherstripping. I like the whole top look better but it’s nice to have the option.

Re: Tow hook mounting holes??
Very nice. Thanks for posting. That half top is a hard to find item.

Re: Tow hook mounting holes??
Very cool you got that! I saw it when it was for sale here a few months back. Wish I had the $ to get it then. Glad to see it stayed up here in the Northwest. Nothing against anyone else out there, we just don't see them here much. Good luck with this one!

Re: Tow hook mounting holes??
Jeff, I have a 71 Jimmy and it has the frame drilled for the hooks. But it has a brush guard on it now. I also have a half cab but I am missing the metal bulkhead for the bottom half. I hope I can find or make one. We had a big snow storm here in northern California.
