Header question on manual trans swap
Anyone have experience with a mid length header in a 71 C10 when doing a 5.3 and TKO-600 swap with a 621 bell ? Not sure if clearance was any different than with an auto like a 60 or 80

Re: Header question on manual trans swap
External slave, Internal slave, or Z-bar linkage?

Re: Header question on manual trans swap
Its what I would call an internal hydraulic slave. Has the hydraulic bearing behind the press plate and a small hydraulic line coming out of rectangular hole in bellhousing up to clutch master cyl on firewall. There is some slack in the hose

Re: Header question on manual trans swap
With an internal slave, I can't see how clearance would be any different than with an automatic. But I have no experience, though.
