New parking brakes cables

Bought some new parking brake cables for my 60 from a well known vintage truck parts place. They are sloppy where they go through the rear brake backing plate. The old ones I took out were very snug to the point I had to twist and yank and jiggle to get them out. The new ones nearly rattle around in the hole. Is that the way they are for everybody or do I have the wrong part or something?

I need to replace mine, pics and info on where ya bought them would be helpful. What brand are they?
