New owner in SoCal - 70 C10 LWB
Hi Ya'll,
Just picked up my first C10 a couple of weeks ago. I'm in the process of getting her to the point where I can reliable drive her wherever/whenever I want. She's rough around the edges but it'll be fun to wrench on her whenever I can. So far, i've redone the drum brakes (new shoes, hardware, etc.) and got some new wheels/tires since the old ones were mismatched and old (cracking, etc.). I just took out all the front steering components and waiting for the replacement tie-rods, pitman arm, idler arm, etc. to get here so I can throw them back in. Since i'm keeping the drums all around i'll probably end up with a DJM suspension setup (5/5). The lowered spring cups don't bother me since this won't be a daily driver. Overall goals are to just have fun and have a cool little cruiser. Here are some pics: |
