Manual to hydraulic clutch

I have an 83 k10 shortbed with an sm465. As everyone knows pre 85 has manual clutch pedals and linkage. I recently bought a set of vacuum pedals out of an 85 Chevy truck. I did not grab the bellhousing though. Anyone know of/ have a part number for a slave cylinder mounting bracket to an 83 bellhousing since im planning on keeping the sm465? Thanks

Re: Manual to hydraulic clutch

I've read a few threads of others having to machine down the bellhousing to fit a slave bracket

Re: Manual to hydraulic clutch

You can get a slave that actuates the mechanical fork and bearing, just as you can get a master actuated by the original clutch pedal. It's not that tough.

Yeah I have the slave for it. Im just looking for a mounting bracket to attach it to the bellhousing since it didn't have one in 83.

Re: Manual to hydraulic clutch

Novak-Adapt makes one for Jeep conversions that use a Chevrolet bellhousing and fork. Not sure if it is for the same bellhousing and/or slave you have but it might be worth a look.
