Coil suspension
Hey guys I just had my C 10 lower , rear springs, and it is sitting lower on one side can anyone confirm if there is a left and right? People that did it said there isn’t but the experts down the road “specialists” apparently said there is a left and right spring on rears.... it’s going back this weekend to see what the problem is.
The left looks to be fine sitting flush but the right seems to not sit so flush, would this be causing the issue, see pics, they told me they would get a spacer made up and put in it I said no im not keen on that idea it came in level it’s coming out level. Thoughts? |

Re: Coil suspension
Ha... never heard of left and right springs...how bad out of level does the truck sit?...spring spacers arnt a big deal but if you used new springs you shouldn't need them...some better pics of how it's all installed may give a clue

Re: Coil suspension
Did you have the front springs changed? They have been known not to seat in the top correctly. How much have you drove it? The springs will settle in and level up some over the first several 100 miles. Did you have any other work done?

Re: Coil suspension
To hard to tell from pictures, left hand rear sits lower, only the rear was lowered
The front is only about an Inch off the bump stops now. |

Re: Coil suspension
Rotate the rear springs where they both contact the trailing arm in the same spot.
It looks like in your pics, the right spring contacts the trailing arm on the front side of the spring,... and the left side on the rear of the spring. That's the best that you can do, since the springs are the same.

Re: Coil suspension
All sorted. Apparently when they lifted the front the front right hand spring came unseated which made the left rear lower drop, all seated all good.
