Hypertech PPIII and T-Stat
i've got a Hypertech power programmer III for a chevy pickup, ~ '97. has a part number of 370202. Used once for about 4 months, then removed. Also have a powerstat, 160° thermostat. Installed, but never ran it. part number 1008. would like to get $175 for both, plus shipping. Please post here if interested. Thanks

I heard that once you use the programmer...it becomes unique to the vehicle and you can't use it on any other vehicle. It has something to do with programming based on your VIN number of the truck. Their website at hypertech says it only works on one vehicle.
Otherwise, I'd buy it for my 97'. Did it work well for yours? Did you notice any differences between stock?

kxmotox247, that is partly true. it will only work on one vehicle at at a time. once it is removed, it can be used on another vehicle.
it worked great. better throttle response and better mpg, if i didn't dog it. by the way, it is already sold. thanks for the interest though
