Stock exhaust for 66 k-10 292 6 cylinder
Does anyone have a source for stock exhaust system for a 1966 k-10 long bed with a stock 292 inline 6? Or does anyone have a used one for sale? Thanks in advance.

I found a complete stock exhaust system from a company on eBay called Dixie Exhaust System. They are I the Carolinas. I sent them a request, a few days later they had the system ready to ship. Haven't received it yet.

I guess I'll ask the obvious, can't you go to an exhaust shop and have them bend something up for you? Or are you wanting to keep as original as possible?

Trying to keep it original. Obviously the company I bought it from is not guaranteeing it to be exact original. But it will be as stock as I can find for now. I also live in an area that doesn't have many muffler shops. And it would be quite had to drive it there without anything from the manifold back. This was my best option. And the price was reasonable.

Re: Stock exhaust for 66 k-10 292 6 cylinder
Casey, This system worked out pretty nice. The only problem I had was that from the muffler back it was not correct for the K-10 trucks. As 60-66 mentioned the exhaust pipe does not travel the whole way to the rear of the truck. The exhaust system they sent me did go the whole way back. However I did make it work. If your truck is a C model, 2 wheel drive, I think you will be pleased with what they offer. Few people know that fact about the K series trucks. I certainly didn't. 60-66 has helped a lot of us to learn more about our trucks.

Keep in mind that there is no tail pipe on a 4x4. It was roughly a 8-10 inch turn down off the muffler , that's it. The muffler was round , not oval also
