Hauled 36 cases of bottled water to our church's car show friday. Truck ran 85 mph up freeway and the extra weight just made it sit down and hug the road. Actually used the cruise control and enjoyed the some 80s metal on the radio.
Then set up 30 x 60 tent. made it home for dinner then started detailing the truck. About 9:00pm went to open the passenger door and the outside door handle button stuck in and door would not open. Ugh! Luckily (for me) my daughter came out and we pulled the door panel off and found the door handle rod just dangling in the breeze, the clip long gone. Had and extra latch so I robbed the clip and she used her small hands to manipulate the clip and rod into place. All in the dark with just a flashlight to see. Finished detailing and got done around 1am. Got up at 6am to make show at 7am. It was a long day but worth the fun. Truck didn't win anything but still worth the effort. Enjoyed showing it of and talking to some LS swap attempters.
