I looked at other Treads but---------------
Here is what I have: (new rebuilt long block)
4.040 bore 3.48 stroke GM 3970010 4 bolt main block Sealed Power H345DCP hypereutectic pistons Hastings 139 rings MS 909P main bearing set CB 663P rod bearing set Durabond CH8 cam bearings Engine Pro 3001 timing set Engine Pro camshaft 214*/214* .450/.450" valve lift @.050" lift Johnson HA817 lifters Fel Pro 260-1000 gasket set Melling MPE 100 freeze plug kit Melling M55 oil pump Putting on Edlebrock/Quadrajet/HEI along with Ramhorn exhaust to 2 1/2" dual pipes. Spark plug recommendations ????? Champion 113 at .045 is what I have so far after looking at all threads etc. But I am sure I am overlooking other possibilities. |

Autolite Platinum Spark Plug
Part # AP145 Advance Auto has these after rebate(s) for $1.69 each. Anyone use these??? |

In that set up the name brands will not much matter.
We use Autolites in a 700HP dirt late model engine and it is a SBC to boot. To some I guess there is a line in the sand. LOL Scott |

Autolite 26....why? I like autolite because they work fine and its a simple number to remember, and ask for.
