T221-M-6 transfer case
Hi guys, I’ve been a member for about Year first posting. I have a 66 4x4 1/2 ton panel. I’m pulling everything apart at this time. I just took out the transfer case mainly just to clean up and put back in once I get the frame done. It only has 25k mi on it everything is nice and tight. My question is... does this transfer case have a 2 wheel drive setting or is it all time 4 wheel drive? I haven’t driven the truck on the road since I bought it. I’ve been collecting parts, sand blasting and painting. I have the case on my work bench. When I push the bar all the way in it’s in 4 wheel low- out one click neutral- out one more click it’s 4 wheel high. No where in there do I get 2 wheel. That being said the only One of shifting shafts moves in and out. The other shaft looks like it should go in and out but doesn’t move. It does move about 1/8 of an inch. Thanks guys for any help

You should post this in the 4x4 section. I think you will get a better response in that section . I am in the process of rebuilding mine and both shift shafts should move.

Thank you. That is really what I needed to know. It has been setting for about the last 25 yrs. so it may just be stuck. I appreciate the input
