P2176

I modified my own harness had it all hooked up to the engine everything worked. I took it off and put it in a box, now the truck is together and I’m installing the wiring, I have zero throttle response and when I turn the key on I immediately get a check engine light, I get the p2176 code and says the Tac System idle position not learned I also get a code P2127 which states TPS pedal position sensor switch E circuit low input Any help would be greatly appreciated

Re: P2176

I am at a similar junction in my swap. I have test ran my engine outside of the truck after reworking the harness myself. I tied all the grounds together and hooked them to the battery negative and everything worked great.

I'd say you have a grounding issue. If everything was O.K. prior to installing in the truck then this is the only thing that has changed. Good luck and keep us posted.

Re: P2176

Went over the grounds several times, my fuel pump cycles when ignition is turned on. No fuel line yet but will check for spark. Starter relay uses the same grounds it works fine

Re: P2176

Check for backed out pins in the throttle pedal harness and at the ECM. Pretty much can only be the wires between the pedal and the ECM. Could also check the plug at the throttle body itself, just to be sure.
