Power Steering Hose
OK, this seems like it should be easy but I am having an incredibly difficult time finding a return power steering hose with the correct bends to it for my '71 Blazer. Apparently there are some wrong part numbers our there. I know a member here sells a stainless steel version, but I am looking for something less expensive. Can someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks. |

Re: Power Steering Hose
You are after a 4wd v8 example? The 4wd examples aren’t reproduced I believe. You can have a hydraulic shop take the OEM ends and rebuild the hose. Here’s one I recently had done locally for my 72 k20. Coincidentally, the guy that built it also has a 72 Blazer. A 2wd example could be bent to work.
The stainless ones you mention are for 2wd.

Re: Power Steering Hose
Yes, looking for the four wheel drive version. Just need the return and unfortunately I do not have the original hose end. Surprised these are not available as so many other parts are.
Any other leads? |

Re: Power Steering Hose
Just in case anyone finds this thread in the future I wanted to let everyone know that Wes at Classic Heartbeat carries the hose ends. Picked one up today. Thanks Wes!

Re: Power Steering Hose
Here you go. Again, just the return hose end. Pressure side I got from local auto parts store but he carries these as well.
