Blazer Filler Neck Cover Question.

My 72' Blazer is about to be painted and my truck did not have the fuel filler neck cover installed. My truck was equipped with the rear side panels from the factory and I will be reinstalling them. Did the Blazers not use those covers if they had the side panels installed or should I buy this one and have it painted with the truck. Thank you.

Re: Blazer Filler Neck Cover Question.

CST level K5s didn’t receive the metal fuel neck cover - seems like the GM considered the panels adequate. In fact, I think the cover might interfere with the trim panel retaining strips.

Thank you for confirming my suspicions. Now that I think about it, I don’t think the side panels would fit with that piece there.
